Hampson Hughes was set up in 2009 by close friends John Hughes and Paul Hampson, both highly qualified personal injury solicitors.

We employ only the best fee-earners and equip them with the very latest cutting edge technology, to assure we always provide a speedy resultion to personal injury claims. We have grown from 2 staff to over 25 staff in the space of 18 months. We have grown with little publicity or advertising but mainly through recommendations from referrers and clients. We have a pro-active approach and this shines through from how we handle calls to our settlement of claims.

Around three million people in the UK are injured in accidents each year – and of these an estimated two million believe that someone else was to blame. If you have been injured in an accident as the result of another person’s actions or neglect, then you may be able to make a personal injury compensation claim.

Accidents happen in many different situations. The injury may be caused by an accident on the road which results in whiplash or a more severe injury. Alternatively you may have slipped or tripped on the pavement or in the supermarket.

At Hampson Hughes, our personal injury solicitors go to great lengths to get the maximum compensation that you are entitled to.

From the moment you contact us, we deal with your personal injury claim in a professional and trustworthy manner, and always communicate in plain and straightforward language.

If you would like us to help you make a compensation claim, we will work under a no win, no fee agreement. If we do not win your personal injury compensation claim you will not be charged any costs or legal fees. If we are successful with your claim, all legal fees are charged to your opponent.

Generally, there is a time limit of three years from the date of the accident in which to bring a claim for personal injury compensation. However, there are some exceptions to this;

If you were younger than 18 years of age at the time of the accident, the three year period only commences when you reach the age of 18 (16 in Scotland).
If you were unaware of the injury/illness at the time - for example; asbestosis. In these situations the three year period runs from the time that the claimant became aware of the injury or illness.
Mental Disability - the limitation period does not commence until the disability ceases. It can start at any time in the future if the disability does not come to an end.
Over the years our personal injury solicitors have recovered millions of pounds for thousands of clients. We are proud of the service that we provide which is designed to be flexible and accessible. We are often praised by our clients for our friendly, no nonsense approach, ease of contact and dogged determination.

Our approach is to provide a friendly and efficient service to make the process of claiming compensation as straightforward as possible.
