Merseyside Junior Lawyers Division mid term update

As the first ever HH representatives on the MJLD committee, we are approaching the mid term point on our time in our current committee roles.

So far this term has seen the committee arrange welcome drinks, a first social, establish a netball team, and take part in various educational events across the 6 months.

It is great to see how young lawyer’s different firms can come together as a committee and combine ideas and suggestions which enable us to arrange such successful events.

We are always trying to think of new ideas for events which will attract people to come and get involves with this great organisation.

I think the committee as a whole look forward to each meeting as it usually involves discussing the success and sharing feedback from the last event and also putting a plan of action in place for the following months social.

We have many more fantastic events planned for 2014 which also include some educational talks from a number of experts in the particular fields which we are members will benefit from.

We are currently putting together the final plans for our final social of 2013 – our Christmas party which is due to take place in City Wine Bar on Old Hall Street. We invite all young lawyers along to join in the festive fun!
