International Women’s Day – A Chat with Rachel

Ahead of International Women’s Day, we are celebrating some of the women that make Hampson Hughes. The last woman to be introduced from the Hampson Hughes team is, Rachel Simms. Rachel joined Hampson Hughes nearly a year ago, as a Clinical Negligence Solicitor.

Rachel Simms, Clinical Negligence Solicitor:

I joined Hampson Hughes nearly a year ago, having previously been trained by the Clinical Negligence Head of Department, Carlos Lopez, in Preston.

I have worked for both defendant and claimant firms, but, prefer claimant work and the human aspect things brings.

The firm values its staff and the Clinical Negligence team provides a professional and friendly environment, sympathetic to a work life balance. As a mother of a beautiful two year old, i hope to inspire her to also become a professional or enjoy a career. The management team are great in offering me support where needed to manage mum / work life.

I hope to continue my career with Hampson Hughes assisting our clients in bringing their claim to conclusion.
