Spanish Police Arrest Briton for Sexual Abuse
Police in Alicante, Spain have arrested a British man who is wanted by UK authorities regarding a child sexual abuse case that was first brought to their attention over 20 years ago.
Authorities claim that the man befriended his victim’s father before carrying out the abuse at his home between October 1994 and the spring of 1995.
UK authorities added that the man is also accused of abusing another child, a young boy who was friends with the first victim. It has been claimed that the man would offer tobacco and alcohol in order to lure the second victim to his home.
The man, who has not yet been named, has been charged with eight counts of sexual abuse against a child under 16. If found guilty, he faces 10 years in prison.
