£2,316 in compensation for rear-end collision

Our client was correctly proceeding on Herne Bay Road, Whitstable, when the defendant who was driving a Vauxhall Corsa failed to maintain a safe braking distance and collided into the rear of our Clients vehicle. This then caused our client to collide with the vehicle in front.

Our client suffered from whiplash type injuries to his neck and shoulders which lasted around 4 months. He also reported that his usual activities of golfing were restricted as a result of the incident.

Liability was admitted in this case and a total of £2,316 was awarded in compensation.
