Susie, a police officer, who was on duty at the time of the accident, was in an unmarked police car. Her vehicle was stationary at a pelican crossing on Walton Hall Drive when another vehicle failed to stop and hit her car from behind. Two other police officers, who were passengers, were also injured.
Susie suffered from whiplash injuries, including pain to her neck and shoulder which lasted seven months and required physiotherapy. Her life was impacted post-accident due to restriction on what she could do in work, as well as suffering pain from normal day to day activities, such as playing with and caring for her young son.
Our team of road traffic accident solicitors helped secure her £2,750 in compensation following her injuries in the road-traffic accident.
Susie said of the quality of service she received:
“All members of staff I spoke to were polite and clearly knowledgeable about their jobs. I felt valued and was kept fully up to date. I was also given good advice regarding my claim.”
