Susie, a police officer who was on duty at the time of the accident, was the driver of an unmarked police car. Her vehicle was stationary at a Pelican Crossing on Walton Hall Drive when another vehicle failed to stop and hit the car from behind. Two other police officers, who were passengers in the vehicle, were also injured.
Unfortunately Susie suffered whiplash injuries including pain to her neck and shoulder which lasted seven months and required physiotherapy. As a result of the accident she wasn’t able to do her normal activities such as play with her young son and the injury also restricted some of her duties at work as a result of pain and discomfort she experienced.
Commenting on the successful outcome of the claim, Susie said:
“All members of staff I spoke to were polite and clearly knowledgeable about their jobs. I felt valued and was kept fully up to date. I was also given good advice regarding my claim.”
